At the ceremony, George Xu (徐創越), CEO of Tianjin Sea-Gull Watch Group, revisited the brand's origins, from its founding in 1955 and China's very first domestically developed wristwatch, to the breakthroughs in tourbillons, minute repeaters, and split-second chronographs that have defined Sea-Gull's ascent into high complication watchmaking.
In his address, he remarked:
"Sea-Gull's arrival in Hong Kong is not merely the opening of a store. It is a homecoming, a connection, and the beginning of a new voyage. Through this window, we hope to share the refinement, confidence, and artistry of Seagull Watch with the world."
