The Heartbeat Inside
ST1961-2: The Gold Standard Of SEA-GULL Movements
Explore the soul of an interstellar timepiece, our latest ST1961-2 refined split-second movement:
Exquisite Aesthetics: Rhodium-plated bridges and hand-polished brushed finishes.
Master Craftsmanship: Features 27 jewels and traditional blued steel screws for timeless reliability.
High-End Complication: A professional-grade Rattrapante complication that brings six-figure complexity to your wrist.

The "Holy Grail" of Chronographs:
Sea-Gull Rattrapante
Unlike a standard chronograph, the SEA-GULL Rattrapante features two overlapping second hands.
The Racing Spirit: It allows you to time two simultaneous events that start together but end at different times (e.g., two race cars crossing the finish line), a high-end complication usually reserved for six-figure luxury pieces.
Mechanical Poetry: Controlled by a dedicated pusher at 10 o'clock, the split and reunion of the two hands is the ultimate mechanical ballet for watch purists.

The Celestial Signature:
Rare Meteorite Dial
A Million-Year Wait: Each dial is precision-cut from the Muonionalusta meteorite, which fell in the Arctic Circle over a million years ago.
Widmanstätten Pattern: The natural crystalline structure is impossible to replicate. No two watches are identical; every piece is a 1-of-1 artifact.
Limited Edition: Every case back is individually numbered (No. 001 - No. 200), ensuring long-term collector value.

Space-Age Durability:
Grade-5 Titanium Case
Crafted from Grade-5 Titanium-alloy for a feather-light feel with industrial-strength protection.

Technical Features
A Rattrapante is a sophisticated watch complication featuring two stopwatch seconds hands. It allows you to time two simultaneous events or record intermediate "split" times. While one hand continues to run, the other can be stopped to read the interval, then "catch up" instantly to the primary hand.
This model is powered by the latest Sea-Gull ST1961-2 manual-winding movement. It features 27 jewels, operates at a frequency of 21,600 vph, and offers a power reserve of up to 45 hours when fully wound.
Compared to ST1961, this ST1961-2 movement has been meticulously refined with three major upgrades:
Rhodium-Plated Bridges: Enhances surface luster and wear resistance, providing a stunning visual experience through the exhibition case back.
Fine Brushed Finish: The core transmission components feature exquisite brushed textures, revealing delicate micro-grooves that create a sophisticated matte-yet-lustrous finish.
Heat-Blued Screws: We have upgraded to traditional heat-blued steel screws—a signature element of high-end horology that adds a touch of elegance and luxury.
Significantly. While the ST19 is a classic column-wheel chronograph, the ST1961-2 is a much more complex "split-seconds" caliber. It requires significantly higher precision in assembly and tuning to ensure the two seconds hands stay perfectly synced.
Operation Procedure:
Start: Press the pusher at 2 o'clock. Both seconds hands start together.
Split Time: Press the split-seconds pusher at 10 o'clock. The split-seconds hand stops, while the main chronograph hand continues. Read the intermediate time.
Catch-up: Press the 10 o'clock pusher again. The split-seconds hand instantly catches up to the main hand.
Stop: Press the 2 o'clock pusher again. Both hands stop.
Reset: Press the pusher at 4 o'clock to return all chronograph hands to zero.
Yes. The ST1961 is a manual-winding movement. As the power reserve depletes (after approx. 45 hours), you will need to wind the watch fully by turning the crown to ensure accurate timekeeping.
Materials & Durability
Yes. Every dial is sliced from the Muonionalusta meteorite. Due to the natural Widmanstätten patterns formed over millions of years in space, no two watches will ever have the same texture. Your timepiece is truly one-of-a-kind.
We apply a specialized protective coating to every meteorite slice to prevent oxidation. This ensures the cosmic patterns remain crisp and pristine while protecting the iron-nickel structure from moisture.
To protect the dial and movement, we use Domed Sapphire Crystal. Sapphire is second only to diamond in hardness, ensuring maximum scratch resistance.
The case is crafted from Grade 5 Titanium, offering a superior strength-to-weight ratio and a "space-age" aesthetic that complements the meteorite dial.
Shipping & Logistics
Yes, we provide global shipping from our official warehouse. Please note that for certain regions, customs duties may apply depending on your local regulations.
Official shipping is expected to begin on June 10th. However, the first 10 pre-orders may benefit from early dispatch as soon as mid-May.
Authenticity & Warranty
This timepiece is powered by the ST1961-2 movement, independently developed and manufactured by Sea-Gull.
It is assembled in-house and launched exclusively through the Sea-Gull Watch Official Global Store (en.seagullwatch.com). Each watch features a unique serial number and comes with an Exclusive Limited Edition Collection Card.
Furthermore, your purchase is backed by a 3-year official warranty.
Every Sea-Gull Meteorite Rattrapante comes with a 3-year international warranty covering any manufacturing defects in the movement or assembly.
Maintenance & Care
As a high-precision mechanical instrument, we recommend a professional service every 3 to 5 years to ensure the lubricants remain effective and the movement maintains its accuracy.
This model is designed with a water resistance of 5ATM (50 meters). While it can withstand rain and splashes, we do not recommend wearing it for swimming or diving to protect the intricate movement and meteorite dial.
