History & Milestones
1955: Founded in Tianjin, manufacturing China’s first mechanical watch, the "Five-Star" timepiece.
1963: Developed China’s first aviation chronograph, the D304, for military use.
2000s: Broke barriers in high-complication watchmaking, launching China’s first in-house tourbillon, minute repeater, and perpetual calendar mechanisms. In 2009, SEA-GULL introduced the ST9250 movement, integrating all three complications into a single timepiece.
2024: Celebrated its 70th anniversary with new releases, including a flying split-second rattrapante chronograph.
2025: Launched its first direct-to-consumer global official website, en.seagullwatch.com, expanding international accessibility and services.

SEA-GULL is China’s largest manufacturer of mechanical watch movements, producing over 2 million movements annually. Its in-house calibers cover a wide spectrum:
